What information do we collect? How do we use it?
Data about visitor activity - i.e., those pages which are accessed and volunteered information - is automatically stored by Seven13. We use this for internal review in an aggregate and non-personally-identifiable form. E-mail addresses and other personally identifying data about visitors is known to Seven13, only when voluntarily submitted to us.
Seven13 uses personally identifying data provided by visitors to customize the merchandise offered, to notify users about updates and activities, to contact users regarding order and invoice confirmation, and to tell you about artworks which we feel may be of interest to you.
In addition, we sometimes use e-mail addresses and other personally identifying information to contact visitors who communicate with Seven13. For example, we mail visitors who provide us with their e-mail addresses for specific purposes such as responding to an inquiry. We also use the shipping and payment addresses of our customers to send them products ordered on our site.
How does Seven13 protect customer information?
When you place orders through Pixelpixs, we offer the use of a secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. Furthermore, all of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access.
What about 'cookies'?
'Cookies' are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information, the cookies allow us to store information from one visit to another. Your cookie information is not shared with any third parties. |
Will Seven13 disclose the information it collects to outside parties?
Seven13 will not sell, rent, share or loan information which is identifiable with any of our customers to any third party. All information is held by us in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1984 (and will be held in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 when it comes into force). We do, however, reserve the right to disclose personal data to the Police or regulatory authorities should this be required. We may be obliged to transfer the personal data of customers for internal business purposes to locations outside the European Economic Area, some of which may not have data protection laws.
How does Seven13 allow customers to update, change or access the information it collects?
The artists may update or change information related to their Seven13 account by accessing the 'Artists Details' section of the website with your name and password. Unfortunatekly at the present, other customers details will need to updated by other forms of communication, i.e Email. You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold on you and you have the right to have it corrected, if necessary. You should contact us at customersupport@seven13.net. We reserve the right to charge a small fee for the provision of copies.
